I ve been going to Virginia Mason for my primary care appointments since I moved to Seattle 19 months ago. Processes are nonsensical requiring multiple checkins, and staff at the internal medicine desk have always been less than helpful, and many times very rude. Today s experience takes the cake though, where it took 25 minutes to book my follow-up appointment. To clarify, that s 25 minutes after reaching the front of the line, the woman at the desk had no clue how to use the computer. Virginia Mason needs to re-evaluate their training and possibly hiring/screening process for the position. I don t have all day to spend at the hospital for a routine checkup.
