The service is exceptional - everyone is friendly, helpful and willing to go out of their way to make your stay enjoyable. The resort is small (~20 rooms) so staff know you by name. They actively seek feedback and are quick and effective with response to any concerns. For example, I had an ear issue while visiting and my MD recommended a specific antibiotic eardrop. The front desk went out of their way to call every pharmacy in town and even sent a driver to check pharmacies in Dangriga as well. Staff also followed up the next day to make sure I was doing okay.

The rooms are clean, comfortable and spacious. Air conditioning keeps them nice and cool. [Be aware that there is no Wifi or electronics in the rooms -- we enjoyed this but know that some people may not appreciate it.] We stayed in a beachside room, so we could see the pool and ocean from the deck.

The food at the restaurant (Singanga) was delicious and fresh, with many items caught that day or picked from the organic garden on site. There are enough items on the menu that we never had the same thing twice, even after 6 days. The service was wonderful with very friendly servers.

The adventures were enjoyable. We did the Mayflower hike which was challenging but fun; the guides were funny and very knowledgable. Diving in the southern reef was beautiful and the captains/dive masters made the experience fun, easy and comfortable. We went canoeing down the river, which was quiet and relaxing but didn't see as much wildlife as we had hoped.

Finally, we really appreciated the efforts to be eco-friendly, including recycling bins and re-usable containers. They also support numerous local charities (education, healthcare, environmental and animal rescue) and have matching donation programs.
