We're halfway through a one week stay here and we will not be returning. We're in a non smoking room, but can't sit out our balcony because of the inconsiderate people smoking cigarettes and marijuana somewhere below us. We paid extra for a beach view and can't even enjoy it. We had to leave the beach just now because of all the old, out of shape guys chain smoking their cigars on the beach. We asked one of the beach attendants if that was allowed and he said there was nothing they could say to them. Then, on our way back into the hotel, we got to walk through a family of chain smokers in front of the door from the pool leading to the elevators. Bottom line, if you don't like cigar, cigarette, or marijuana smoke, this isn't the place for you. We stayed here years ago and it was great, not sure what happened.

Edit: the employees (wait staff, cleaning people, etc...) are very friendly and great Management needs to be go.

Response to the response from "owner." Apparently you didn't read my review closely enough. I did speak to your employees about the morbidly obese cigar smokers on the beach and was told they couldn't say anything to them. Correct me if I'm wrong , but under Florida law, you own the beach and can set whatever smoking rules you want. So like I said, management here sucks. Your guests and your employees deserve better.
