Beware! This hospital incorporate doctors from outside the area. When you come to the emergency room you're confronted by a doctor asking you to sign a paper so they can treat you. Don't do it. Ask for a resident doctor even though there aren't any on call in the emergency room. Reason: The Hospital will bill your insurance for Doctor, staff and equipment. Which most insurance will cover. But the sham is this, signing that paper allows a doctor that isn't a resident at that hospital to double bill your insurance for Doctor, staff and equipment. Even though that doctor has no staff there and is using the hospitals staff and equipment. Most insurance companies don't catch this and pay. That's what these sham artists are hoping for. My insurance paid 85.00 for the doctor through the hospital but then received a second bill from the doctor for his services that included staff and equipment. Charging anywhere between 800 and 1000 dollars extra that YOU are liable to pay. When trying to contact ANY of these doctors you can find the other hospitals phone numbers they work at but no office, no phone or any way to contact them or any staff they have. You're always referred to a number that leads you to billing. When I confronted the Hospital administrator he continuously tried to change the subject and claiming he would look into it. I also found out that specific doctor had seen over 10 people while there that night. Must be nice to make 10000 dollars in one night. I received final notices from the doctors I had seen there even though I never received a bill from them to begin with. Another ploy to get you to pay so it doesn't hit your credit report. AND the final notices actually state that. Stay away from this hospital at all costs.
