Preface this comment by understanding that I stay in upscale hotel rooms more than 90 days per year. I have stayed at the Park Hyatt many times in the past and had a positive experience. Unfortunately, I stayed here over Christmas and things are NOT the same. Apparently, hotel management has recently changed and clearly for the worse. I was treated in a rude and dismissive manner by the weekend manager when discussing poor sound-proofing of my room. Additionally, family members who were with me were verbally threatened by an ignorant and aggressive security personnel who behaved in a very inappropriate manner. There is NO possible excuse for this to ever happen. Period. It's obvious that the customer DOESN'T come first at the Park Hyatt and they are absolutely NOT a first class or luxury hotel. I would advise anyone who is looking for either an upscale business hotel (especially if you need to have a meeting in your suite) or a home away from home with your family to stay at a real 5 star accommodation like The Langham or The Peninsula. Think twice before you stay at the Park Hyatt and just remember that I told you so.
