I went to Job Corps in 1981, yes there were some fights, but the Gary Police was tough. Drugs?. Maybe marijuana, not lots. The drinking was done at the San Marco's river. I escaped many times to town with my Mexican, Vietnamese and Laotian friends. I stayed at Gary for 4 years. I loved there. I learned to speak the English, Vietnamese and Laotian.
