Pick a nice day and you can spend a good few hours here. The house (opened in 2008) is a fascinating throwback to the fifties and sixties, rich in artifacts from Moore's travels yet humble in its presentation. The estate grounds, with many of Moore's sculptures, hiding behind trees and positioned to present their beauty, makes a lovely stroll. The new exhibition centre houses more information, a gift shop and a lovely cafe with plenty of tea and cake.
