On May 6, 2019 I had my left shoulder replaced at Rose Medical Center. I was very blessed to have one of the top surgeons in the Denver area perform the surgery, Armodios Hatzidakis. I was extremely pleased with the care he and his surgery team provided me. Dr. Hatzidakis is a very friendly surgeon and I felt very comfortable in his care. All of the medical personnel who cared for me the two days of my stay were excellent, very caring and continually checking on me to see that I was comfortable. One nice gesture that Rose Medical Center did was allow my twin sister a bed to stay in my room with me those two nights. Dr. Hatzidakis had previously preformed shoulder replacement surgeries on both of her shoulders and the physical therapist, Jeremy taught her how to correctly work the passive therapy with me. She brought me back to my home in Canon City and stayed 2 1/2 weeks with me where we worked the passive therapy 3 times a day. In addition to the excellent care I received, the meals served were outstanding. When I have recovered from this surgery, I will definitely be back to Rose and Dr. Hatzidakis to have my right shoulder replaced.
