The VA system is still broken and the government is trying to curve costs on treating patients. I transferred my care to this clinic from where I used to live. I was receiving medication because of a diagnosis from a VA doctor at this previous location. When I transferred I was told I would no longer receive the medication because there was no proof of this diagnosis. This was ridiculous after having been sent to endocrinologists outside the VA and receiving a diagnosis by the specialist. Never have I been so disheartened for being turned away after serving in a combat zone as an Infantry Corpsman for this country. The fancy building is nice to only look at.
