The prison is in one way scary because of the past, which can be seen in the prison museum.
Many large events are held at the prison. For the same reason, there are plenty of parking spaces if you just want to walk 5 minutes from the back.
Next to the old workshops outside the wall there is a magnificent view of Horsens and the surrounding area.
