I had a very good experience with Nexa mortgage up until I decided to go with another lender with a better rate and fees. The service was great up until this point. When I explained I was going with another lender, the broker proceeded to say, "Oh we can match that rate." Why wouldn't I be offered this rate in the beginning? When I said no, he proceeded to say "this is very disrespectful in my industry, I worked really hard on this." Unfortunately, we all work hard on things and do not get the outcome we want, that's life. Let me give you a scenario. You are shopping for a new car and go to two dealerships. One dealer says it costs 60k, the other dealer says they can sell it to you for 55k. You tell the first dealer that you have found a better deal. That dealer then says "Oh! we can match that price!" Who are you going to give your business to? The dealer who tried to charge you more but would price match, or the dealer who gave you better upfront pricing in the first place? I think we all know the answer to that one. Like I said great service up untill that point.
