Frustrating place to pick up materials and special orders. The service desk staff is constantly doing 5 things at once while answering phones leaving you standing around. I was being helped one time and the "associate" helping me took a call for a special order while I stood there for 10 minutes. After they hung up, they didn't even bother to apologize or acknowledge they were wasting our time. The employee back in the window section is also equally helpless. After special ordering windows and giving the exact measurements, the window type that came in was wrong. Had to get my contractor to come in and argue with the lady to get them to place an order for the correct windows while threatening is with a restock fee if these new windows were not correct. As I write this I am currently standing around waiting for my sliding patio door to be brought to the customer service desk. I was called a few days ago stating it was ready for pick up but that means it's physically present in the store. They still needed to uncrate it and I guess that takes more than an hour. There are too many employees to count all over the store but none that can offer any help. Drive a mile down the road to lowes to save your time and sanity.
