First there are not any similar options so any rating is kind of moot. If you were to compare them against cable they would be a one star. If you were to compare them to the alternatives available at my address - satellite, cell service or dial up then they would be a 4 star.

It is expensive , but less costly than a similar amount of data via cell service. I have used a SIM card in a cellular router and the performance was similar but had limited data. VOIP does not work and speeds are below advertised - but you can stream 2-3 devices. It is much faster than dial-up. Service can be spotty and support is okay. Uptime is generally okay unless you are doing business work and need a high level of availability. When I have really had a problem they have responded reasonably well.

So the minute I have a better alternative, I will switch. For now it beats the alternatives that I have - which are essentially zero.
