It probably is the oldest star hotel in cox bazar. Here are the pros and cons :

Pros-
1. Its right next to the beach.
2. Very nice architecture.
3. Has a very large and well designed swimming pool.
4. A lot of open space with a large backyard adjacent to the pool, a large green lawn, large parking space and another very large lawn for outdoor Bar B Q and music. You will not find any other hotel in the area with so much open space!
5. Bar B Q tests good.
6. I took a package from the travel desk. It was good.
7. Best part is they display how much food was wasted last mornings breakfast buffet so that people dont waste anymore.
8. Small but nice lobby.

Cons-
1. It needs serious maintaining. I stayed in a regular room. It is not supposed to be the best room but it lacks maintaining. The bathroom was a disgrace! Dirty shower curtains! And who provides used rubber slippers nowadays!! curtains are immovable and dusty, charging points are loose. No water heater despite having an outlet. Also the corridors and common space need maintaining. And air conditioning inside the room was not sufficient.
2. Lacks professionalism. The front desk is a little harsh. Once you reach the front desk, you'll immediately notice the difference with other professional hotels. The most unprofessional are the support staffs. They have a skeptical and kind of aggressive attitute. More than one person will enter your room to check the minibar regularly and also while you are checking out. They do this in such an obvious and deliberate way that you and your family will feel very uncomfortable! I have seen such attitude in Bayoke Sky Hotel in Bangkok. No where else have I seen such support staffs ( Despite their size and star numbers).

3. The breakfast is definitely not 4 star.

We did not have any trouble with the staffs and no one actually did anything wrong. But if you have stayed in other hotels, you'll notice the difference. And often you will not feel comfortable.

My stay was okey, but I'll not be inclined to have another stay there.
