I took my, one month old, Sharp microwave/convection oven in for repair under warranty as it would not bake a pizza when operated per the owners manual.

Never got a phone call regarding its status. When I called I was told the serviceman found it to be operating properly. There was miscommunication between the person who accepted the oven and the "repair"man.

The line I was supposed to swallow is that in attempt to reduce energy usage, ovens don't get as hot as they used to. As if one should accept uncooked food as today's norm.

I was told they would call when the machine was next worked on so I could explain directly.

After two days I called back and found that I'd been put to the back of the line and it would be a couple more before the oven was even looked at.

I made the decision to retrieve my appliance and seek help elsewhere.
