Tomorrow, June 30, 2016, will be one week that I've had my very gently used 2015 Audi A4. I came in that day to look at a different A4--one that was a year older and had three times the mileage. When it became apparent that I didn't want to pay as much for the car as it would have cost me, the salesman working with me, Todd Carte, steered me (no pun intended) in the direction of a newer, lower mileage, and cheaper vehicle. And I love it!

I have to say this about Mr. Carte: He is a true professional and somebody who made what is normally (for me, at least) a very stressful experience into a breeze. Todd never pushed me on anything. He listened carefully to each and every one of my questions, and if he was able to he answered them. Those questions that he was unable to answer he directed to someone who could (although I had very few questions he was unable to answer).

I don't like car-buying. Aside from the stressfulness, it's a lot of time and money. But as I said, Todd made the experience quite effortless. And he did it all with good humor in a very personable way. I realize that the sale of automobiles is viewed by many as a "me v. them" exercise. I never felt that way working with Todd. It was as if he thought he might, himself one day, need to drive the car I was purchasing. So he made sure I was comfortable with the purchase--not just from a financial standpoint but, too, trying to figure out if it was the right car for me. Which it is, I believe.

Todd also followed up with me earlier this week to see how everything is going, and he assured me that if I have any questions about the car I should feel free to call him. And I do feel as if I can call and ask him about any questions I may have with my A4.

I've been looking at Audi A4s for a number of years now. Todd made purchasing my first one a very easy experience. I cannot say enough about how well he treated me and made the purchasing experience one that was not, in any way, stressful. In short, if all automotive sales people were more like Todd, I have no doubt that automobile sales in this country grow as a result.

I thank you for taking the time to read my comment, and I commend Audi Indianapolis on having a Audi specialist like Todd Carte.

Thank you.
