Sam Nafh Review of Marriott Niagara Falls Gateway...
Stayed 2 nights at the Gateway this past weekend.
Stayed 2 nights at the Gateway this past weekend.
2 queen sized beds on a 9th floor room. First thing, fridge was not on, so needed to call Tech guy to switch it on. Once on, it was a functioning fridge. I wonder if they leave all their fridges off to save on electricity!
Beds were comfortable, as were pillows.
Shower strength was impressive. Better than my own, and I like it hard!
Views were like you see on the website. And worth the extra dough. Interesting to see the crowds over the course of the day.
Breakfast was impressive as well. Excellent and well replenished spread.
Elevators have a special system, which actually makes sense when you get used to it. Elevators are not heated. So you can't walk around in indoor clothes!
Lots of young couples and families in this hotel.
Check-in had a line, but this is understandable on a Valentine's/Family Day weekend.
Fallsview Marriott has terrible front entrance with cars backed up on the street. A concierge or directions would be a start! It looked like the drop zone of the airport but only 50 feet long! Gateway not as bad. But nobody directing traffic or offering a welcome at this point, which would be appreciated!
TV selection not anything special. Remote we received was broken, and the replacement was just as bad. Do guests use them as footballs?
PF charge on bill should be explained better. Was told it as a tourist tax!
The trip was a success thanks to the Marriott.
