We are due to holiday at the end of May 2020. This holiday was booked before Christmas and final payment taken on 15th March after COVID19 restrictions began in Ireland. I made the final payment thinking I was doing the right thing. Click and Go contacted us in early April to say we had to decide by April 20th if we wanted to change dates or wait to see if the flight would be cancelled. As per the EU Directive on Package Travel and Linked Travel Arrangement I told them I was entitled to a full refund and this is what I wanted. I have sent numerous emails looking for a response from Click and Go to this request but have received NOTHING in response. I tried to call the office but unless you are within 14 days of travel they basically said they will hang up on you. I am not an unreasonable person and I understand that this is a difficult time for them but actually this is a difficult time for everyone. And this big company is trying to screw over regular people who saved hard for a summer holiday which they now cannot take. According to the EU Directive I am entitled to a refund of my full holiday cost within 14 days of making that request. Click and Go have not even emailed me back within this timeframe despite numerous emails from me. Ignoring your customers is not customer service, this is absolutely atrocious. In my opinion dealing with problems and issues is the measure of any good travel company. Click and Go don't even get out of the blocks in this race they are appalling. Definitely would not book with them again and would advise anyone else against using them.
