Having see previous exhibitions and the great museum in Arle, I was disappointed not to get a more interesting and complete immersion in the art.This is a modern building dedicated to the art of one person, yet it failed to inspire either as a building or with the presentation of the incredible talent. I blame, overcrowded rooms and a superficial presentation focusing too much on sunflowers and technique, I think the story of his life and contemporaries has been missed. My visit sadly felt like a box ticking exercise and we were disappointed.
