Memorial day weekend getaway. Room was clean and decent. Shower head was awesome..lots of water power! Spa was booked so didn't get a chance to try it out but the prices seemed average for a hotel spa $130/60min. Self parking is $24/day but at least there's a bridge that takes you directly into the hotel. The pool is at the rooftop but it's indoor and a very stuffy feeling (not airy). The pool is not that spacious (it's long, but not wide). Hilton should find a way to expand on the pool area. Make it more open and add another pool on the terrace. The Marriott across the street has a perfect example of a great outdoor pool area. You can see it from the Hilton and honestly we wished we were there instead. However, the gym seemed larger than most Hiltons. We ate at Papacitos and it's pricey but not bad..but not amazing. $120 for 2 entrees and 2 magaritas..wow! The lobby bar is a cool place to hang. They should find a way to expand on the bar menu especially if the bar and grill restaurant is literally next door. Hotel is literally across a park that seems to have lots going on. There's small mall but the hours seem limited (closed on Sunday). House of Blues 2 blocks down with a concert always on. It would've been 5 stars if the pool was appealing.
