Volunteering here is one thing. Being a resident here is s completely different experience. They have ridiculous rules and treat you as if you re in jail. A lot of the staff are humble. Some of them forget where they came from and speak to you any kind of way. It s funny bc they act as if people aren t already at the lowest point of their lives just to treat them like they are in a damn prison. I personally wouldn t recommend living here to anyone. I would only volunteer Bc the residents here still need encouragement and someone to show them a better way. I m sure the staff at the career center are different. Matter of fact I m positive that they are. However they aren t the ones running the place at night. That s when the craziness starts. Not sure I ll. R doing this much longer. They don t reLly care, it s a paycheck and it shows.
