My family and i stayed at the Manhattan |Hotel, Times Square, New York for 5 nights in May this year. Our experience of the hotel was mixed. The original room on the 11th floor which was provided for us was dated, with marks on the bathroom sink, marks on the curtains, and stale carpet smell . It was difficult for me to stay in the room so i approached the front desk to ask if we could upgrade to an executive room. The upgrade was available at a charge and our room was a much better room on the 18th floor, which made our stay more pleasant. Thank you to Mohammad for his patience with finding us the room and for also making us feel special as it was our birthdays, shame the upgrade was not free, but we did get breakfast free and some gifts of chocolates and New York merchandise.
There is no restaurant in the Manhattan, just a little breakfast bar that serves a continental breakfast of pastry, fruit and a beverage, many thanks to Dolly, Mohammed and John for making our breakfast a pleasant one.
