CCNY is an OK college. The cleaning people are horrible and the school is rather disgusting and always dirty. Bathrooms and facilities are typically in horrible state. If the cleaners do decide to actually work they make a ton of noise to make sure they disturb you as you study. It is almost like they want to be told not to clean so as to have a reason. The school's departments do not function together. They seem to be 20 years behind when it comes to technology. Rather wasteful when it comes to utilities and paper resources. Security people are nice but put in a position where most students don't appreciate them due to regulations and them just doing their job. Everything is still done on paper. I don't know if they haven't heard about all the wonderful new technologies out there or if they just don't care. Most of the issues are quick little fixes that can be implemented with proper direction and I guess that is what is most troubling about it.
