Overall, the hotel is not bad, but will not return there.
We rested in "Swiss Bel" after Ubud - so this is heaven and earth. You arrive after Ubud in Nusa Dua and a complete disappointment. The staff is lax, they smile at you with a stretch ... And so in order:
1. Been reading good reviews and opted for this hotel. If you are not planning to rent a bike, believe me, the hotel is very inconveniently located. To the nearest beach about 15 minutes by a slide and terrible heat. Yes, once an hour there is a shuttle from the hotel to Geger Beach, but we did not always have time and it was not always convenient to travel to Geger. We always took a taxi. It's cheap, but absolutely all taxi drivers want to fool you, so it's better to download apps or ride a blue bird over the counter. In general, the location of the hotel is terrible! There is nothing nearby!
2. We were initially placed in room, I think, 302. It is corner and from the window you can see everything that is done in other rooms, and, accordingly, people see what is being done in your room. This is the first moment. The second - it smelled terribly of mold. The smell is awful! I could not stand it and went to the reception with a request to change the number. Without any problems, we changed our room to a "family" duplex with a sea view (6th floor). Of course, we were delighted. But it was not there. The room is old and when the neighbors (from the next room) walked up the steps, we all heard it and the feeling that some kind of wild boar was walking)) in general, at two in the morning it s not fun to wake up from the creak of the stairs. Well, I am silent about the audibility in the rooms. All is heard.
The staff is not bad, customer-oriented, the room was changed for us, and in principle all our requests were satisfied. Thanks for this! But the hotel experience is still not the best.
3. Breakfasts. They are awful. Every day the same thing. Mostly the breakfasts are aimed at Chinese people. Of course, you won't go hungry. You can always find something to eat, but the choice is scarce.
On my DR, my husband decided to surprise me and ordered a "floating breakfast". Scrambled eggs and coffee for 305 thousand rupees - well, that's it. And there is in the dirty pool - not very cool. And the pool was dirty. Maybe they haven't cleaned it yet? I don't know but we didn't swim in it anymore. I will note that the staff also congratulated me with a cake and sang a song. It was nice!
4. Well, I will note that at the hotel I did not leave the feeling that I was in Egypt. Maybe due to the fact that there are a lot of Slavs in the hotel and everything that follows from here (conversations with obscenities, drunken faces), well, the hotel is too old ...
Overall, it's not bad. The main disadvantage is the location. While there, I realized one thing - it would have been better if I had endured in a 3-star hotel (all the same, we only came to the hotel to spend the night), but the hotel would have been in the center, than I had to endure all the inconveniences, so I also had to pay for a taxi.
