17/Nov:Ordered an i7 online from iRobot directly. It arrived yesterday. After charging for couple of hours, teh app showed battery full. Tried using it and eery 40 seconds, it showed tap bumper to continue. Did that multiple time, did not work. Talked to the customer service - they said, please charge for 16 hours (though not mentioned in the instructions). Dis that today and the problem persists. With lot of difficulty talked to the customer service and they are asking to wait for one more day as most of their people are not available and will talk to me tomorrow. They said they will try to fix this model - This is atrocious ! You buy a premium product that is not working on arrival and you need to run around asking for getting the fixed with no professional support. I will keep updating how things go.. need a replacement for this faulty unit.
