I had a sales representative come to my home to prepare an estimate for two new air conditioning units as mine are aging . He was polite and friendly. He stayed at my home for 2 hours taking measurements of rooms, doors and getting in the attic to take pictures of my current units as well as the compressors outside. I thought that was an excessive amount of time for an estimate. Shortly after he left, I noticed it was warm in the house and went to my upstairs thermostat and found it was turned off.
I left my home for a couple of hours to go to the gym and when I returned, it was 80 degrees downstairs. I went outside to discover my downstairs compressor wasn't working. I called for a technician and 2 arrived about an hour later. They discovered that a fuse had burned out and advised it was probably caused by their salesman's examination of my unit earlier that day.
