James Stanzione Review of Luciens Manor

One of the worst experiences i've ever had with a wedding venue. The main problem was not with the servers who were very polite and accommodating. The main source of the problem was Jacob Miller who is the manger there during the wedding. The wedding started off fine with the entrance of the bride and groom but then soon after when the dancing started the problems started.
Jacob quickly walked in and started talking to the DJ saying he needed to stop playing music because there was no dancing allowed. I spoke to the groom and there is nothing in the contract that prevents the guests from dancing especially guests who have been quarantining together for about a month prior to this wedding. We even called the chief of police of the county to ask if dancing was illegal at the wedding or if they would come a shut it down and he said "it's an executive order which other words means its a strong suggestion" but not a requirement or law prohibiting us from dancing. We asked Jacob to call the police department if it really wasn't allowed but he refused to do that.
After a lot of arguing and after a while of Jacob not backing down or trying to compromise on anything to allow the families to get along with the wedding we decided to move the speakers outside and dance there. He said that was fine but even during that he kept pestering the DJ and complaining about small things. Jacob received a bad review online from one of the guests and threatened to shut the place down if we didn't remove it which was very unprofessional of him.
In conclusion Jacob Miller scammed the bride and groom for thousands of dollars just for us to have a dinner and have to dance outside in a parking lot with humidity and heat. If we knew this to be the case we would of just went to a restaurant and paid a fraction of the price it took to rent this venue and danced somewhere else. You can't host a wedding and charge thousands of dollars and then put all these restrictions on the guests and ruin the night for the bride, groom, and their families and guests. This is supposed to be one of the best nights of the bride and groom's lives and it was ruined by a very bad management led by Jacob Miller. Very bad business and I would never consider hosting any event here. Jacob was very rude and difficult to work with and I would stay far away from this place. I wish I could give it 0 stars.
