First thing I noticed was the 25 dollar a night parking charge lol then the dated tiles in lobby. Looks like they where from an old Howard Johnson hotel. Someone tried to modernize this place at one point. They did great in some areas but others are blaahh..now the room...2 adults 2 kids..2 full size beds..you kidding me they crammed 2 full size beds in here. First hotel I've ever been to with full size beds. You can tell this uses to be a room with one king bed and a desk with chair at one point. Rooms are tiny and crammed. Beds were comfy at least. My son's bathing suit and my arm had this white caulk from the pool all over his shirt and swim shorts it was like a white grease Called front desk they know of the problem and said they would have them cleaned for free which was nice but they are aware of the problem and do not address it. Some other parents at the pool encountered same problem and we're pissed. The staff here are welcoming and courteous . Room furniture is nice and in good shape but the rooms have those old metal door jams (look pic)all beat up with 3000 coats of paint on them. Bath tub was glazed over at one point and I know this because it's chipping off and sticking to my bar of soap ( annoying ). Toilet flusher ( look pic) looks like it's from my old high school with that flusher you see in rest stops bathrooms. Whoever they had tile the shower bathtub either had one hand or was drunk horrible job ( look at pic). I'm a contractor for a living so I can spot shotty work. The location of the hotel is great. The pool was nice but not pool bar needs some work actually a lot of work.. Brandon the pool bar bartender was awesome. Lobby bar and restaurant was really nice .Room 929 august 18th 2016. Would I come back ??? Can't answer that right now still up in the air... I can say this though the hotel staff is one of the best ive experienced in my life top notch. Hope my review helps with your choice.
