Victoria Jacobie Review of Kimberly's A Day Spa Ltd.

I usually read reviews before visiting a new place and I was nervous to come here because of the reviews about the front desk staff being less than pleasant. I had a gift card so decided to give it a shot anyway. Called from the car to say we had arrived and the person on the phone was short and rude. She told us to come to the door, so we did. We stood in the cold for a few minutes and decided to go back to the car. 10 minutes later someone came to the door to let us in and seemed impatient. We were greeted inside by our nail technicians who were very kind. The manicure service was relaxing and the nail techs were very personable and polite without being overbearing. We paid before the paint went on our nails. When we were done we walked out to the main area to look at the shop. When we were done looking we went to walk out the door and were abruptly stopped by the girl at the front desk saying "did you pay" in a very rude tone. We told her we paid our lady before she painted our nails. The girl then stood and stared at us with a look that seemed like she was accusing us of stealing. Then she asked who our techs were and we couldn't remember the names. She asked if she had our names correct and we said yes. She said "okay." That was it. No "thanks for visiting, hope you enjoyed, etc." I wish I got her name because if it wasn't for her, I probably wouldn't have bothered with the review. We came to have a nice relaxing time to forget about stress for a bit and that is how our experience was ended. Don't treat your customers like poor dirt who come to steal from you. On a side note, it's one day after my manicure and my nails are chipping all over the place. I'm giving two stars because the nail techs were very nice. Other than that, this place sucks. You'd think after so many reviews on how terrible the front desk service is, they would do some personal inventory and correct the problem.
