In my humble opinion, much WORSE than both UTS and University of Sydney (I have attended three universities in Sydney). Lecturer explained a search algorithm to 400+ students by saying "you go go go, then you back" without teaching aids or visuals. It is barely even English language in construct! Some other faculty informed me verbally before I'd applied that CSP allocations and subsequently award are highly probable, but months later asked to "apply again" and submit through some system (including Application FEE of course), only to award full-fee place. I cannot believe a uni asked for $100 from you, so they can accept and ask you to please pay more.

I have also worked on a project at UNSW, and a permanent staff had told me that the uni is run by maybe a very homogeneous group of folks at the top who cares about driving profits, perhaps less so about providing quality education.

The one thing UNSW is very good at is marketing. I remember winning some award for a maths competition overseas when I was between 7-10 y.o. and the award was presented by then the Minister for Education. A lot of impressionistic bias get to my head early in my life!

Do not forget to question why "Google Local Guides" below are saying positive things about the university. Perform more thorough a research. This would be a good start for demonstrating ones' academic/intellectual curiousity, instead of getting spoon-fed a degree :)
