I shot the Sheriff! Just Kidding, I for sure didn't shoot the sheriff or anyone! Can you imagine?!? Aye Yi Yi

I am sooooo thankful to have thought to go to the Sheriff's Office to ask about bullying and whether or not it's reportable. So thankful!

While I can't remember the name of the Sheriff who helped me, I know she was really helpful and adamant that bullying IS reportable and SHOULD be reported. The sheriff even gave me an article number that confirmed her 'Bullying is reportable and should be reported' statement.

When I shared with the sheriff what happened to me, she said the report needed to be made in the city the bullying incident happened. I explained what the Lafayette Police Department had told me, that it's NOT reportable and that they wouldn't write a report for it and that what I had was a civil case.

The sheriff told me, that what the Lafayette Police told me was incorrect, but that they/she couldn't override what the local city police said.

Its too bad, the lafayette police are so heartless. Cause I know bullying is reportable. It's just too bad, that the Lafayette Police doesn't care about hate, or bullying in their city.
