I have visited Big Cat Rescue several times. Every time I come to the Tampa area, I have to go again. The serenity of the location, and the cleanliness and earnest care for the big cats, are amazing. They represent everything decent about animal rescue and preservation. What would this world be like without big cats? That is exactly what I wonder every time I visit. I am awed. The majesty and fierceness of the big cats are evident. They are not to be treated carelessly. With places like this, we can be assured that the public will be educated, alerted to abusive situations nationwide, and will be grateful for their efforts to protect and preserve this beautiful, powerful animal.
