If I could give Hope Rehab 100 stars, I would. I developed severe pain in my left shoulder in December of 2020. I was treated for bursitis and shoulder (rotator cuff) impingement with a cortisone shot (which provided all of a week of relief) and was sent on my way with a xeroxed handout of rehab exercises. I worked those exercises on my own for six weeks with zero improvement, and was beginning to worry about being permanently crippled. Suffering from chronic shoulder pain, but wanting to avoid surgery, I asked my doc if I could maybe try physical therapy. He referred me to Hope Rehab. What a blessing that has turned out to be! After six weeks of twice a week, 1-hour sessions, my improvement has been nothing short of miraculous. My range of pain-free motion is almost fully back to normal, and I'm regaining my strength. There is no way I could have hoped to do this on my own. Expert treatment (dry needling, deep tissue manipulation, stretching, ice with compression) combined with an expertly applied, gradually increasing exercise regimen, has worked wonders. Proper stretching and exercise is super important to recovery, but if you are doing it wrong, you aren't helping yourself, and you may make your condition worse. The difference between right and wrong is often subtle; you'll never figure it out on your own with written instructions, or by watching YouTube. The folks at Hope Rehab will *show* you how to do it right. On top of their obvious expertise and competence, all of the physical therapists I've had the pleasure to interact with there are kind, caring, and friendly. They're just good people. You couldn't ask for more, and I can't recommend Hope Rehab of Katy highly enough. If you have a physical problem, give 'em a go. You won't regret it.
