First the pros- very fancy hotel if that's what you're looking for. Traditional in every way and looks to be keeping up that image.

Unfortunately our hallway smelled unbearably of cleaning chemicals (harsh ones) and old/moldy water. We could smell it in our room as well. It feels like no carpet or furniture has been replaced for decades and that's a bit scary in this day and age when we know how dangerous chemicals and molds can be.

The breakfast was very mediocre. Stale pastries and packaged jams. It wouldn't take much to improve that at a minimum.

The front driveway is a one way vehicle trap. If someone in front of you won't move, you are at their mercy.

Giving them 4 stars for their service attempts, but it needs an update or cleaning with some more natural cleaning supplies :-/.
