They were my dog's vet for almost 5 years. However each time I went I was growing more frustrated with them because it seemed they were not giving the proper care to my dogs. I had a dog that had severe allergies spent thousands of dollars there. one day discovered after researching about mosquitoes there's a possibility they can get heartworms. When I inquired they realize they've never checked them. I went there practically every month for years when I did check them it's been a fortune on the test they both had heartworms and was told it was a severe case I was told it would be $1,500 for each dog to get treatment. No apologies no assistance when I feel like it was their place to have ask me about testing or informed me about the risk. But then never did.n I researched and found another vet check my dogs in there. That was at Jasper Veterinary Clinic. Dr. Martin sat in the floor making friends with my dogs.he spent time explaining while the Test shows there is a presence of adult and babies since the dogs were not exhibiting symptoms he didn't believe it was as severe as what Farmstead made it out to be. Dr. Martin took great care and making friends with my dog and the experience with me trusting them to care for my dogs was immediately there. For the first time I actually felt like I had a veterinarian that actually liked animals. He didn't bost about his resume like when I went to Farmstead. Never really had that feeling at farmstead. Josh at farmstead was the only person I recall whoever took the time to even pet my dogs and make friends with them. That's the only reason why they deserve 1 star. My dogs got treated for much less and are healthy.
