Visited for Elkhart's first comicon. For the type of event, it was a bit small considering they hit capacity fairly quickly. I'm not sure if it was Lerner employees or volunteers that were doing all of the directing and informing, but they could've double staffed and still had been underhanded. We were standing in line for a half an hour before we found out we were in the wrong line (no signs and only one person directing thousands).

On a positive note though, the building is beautiful and I did enjoy my time there for the most part. Like I mentioned, I'm sure they weren't expecting such a turnout and things got crowded quick. I'm sure it's very fitting for stage performances on a smaller scale though.

This was the most horrible show I have ever seen. I went to see Gordon Lightfoot last night. I am sorry but he was horrible. He looks like he should be 6' under. I'm sorry. But he should not be performing and ripping all the people off for the price that was charged for these tickets. He didn't sound at all like he did. I have seen plenty of other older performers and they actually still sound really good and could move around. He couldn't even hardly move around. The Lerner should be ashamed of them selves for letting someone this old and decrepid perform and then charge the rates you charged. I may never attend another performance at your establishment.

We went to see "64 the tribute" and it was GREAT!!! We had first time ever "box seats" and now that we've had them it's gonna be hard to sit anywhere else. If you haven't ever tried box seats the next time you're going to take in a show, let me urge you to try it. I'm probably cutting off my own opportunities but if you do, I can wager you'll find yourself like us not wanting to sit in the general audience ever again.

I went to the Lerner Theater twice. First time was when Vicki Lawrence came to town a few years ago. The second time was when Hoosier Millionaire stopped into town. It's a very beautiful, and historical establishment, where there is an array of concerts, plays, and special events.

I was impressed with this theatre! They have friendly helpful ushers which is such a relief! The place was clean and comfortable. The speakers were clear and the volume was just right. We loved the comedy of Colin and Brad from Whose Line Is It Anyway? It was well worth the time and money to go there. I'm on their email list so I can catch future events.

Beautiful renovated theater. Great family fun while being taking back to an different time period. Snacks and popcorn are a little higher than some theaters, but they have a lot less chance to raise money and a very expensive building to upkeep. Money spent here is well spent.

I was at the Lerner to watch the free, pre-Thanksgiving showing of Elf; and, as usual it was a wonderful experience. The staff and volunteers were very helpful, kind, and patient with all the people. The venue itself, inside the theater was gorgeous, and the seats, the floors, and the bathrooms were very neat and clean. I always enjoy going to this theater. This is especially true because I remember, when I was younger and it was the Elco, how dingy, dusty, and grimy it used to be, but it always showed echoes of the beauty that once was. So, seeing all the renovations and the beauty that has been restored, it is always special walking into Lerner, staring up at the ceiling that used to have a gray tinge and peeling paint and see rich golds and ornate, intricate designs fitting of a theater.

I wish that they would take and scan the tickets further in than right before the stairs and if you needed to use the restroom you couldn't if you didn't have a ticket are you had to wait till your family member brought it in if they were running behind

An unbelievable menu for thebPurdue Music Organization. The theatre is so beautiful and special to experience. We drove from South Lyon, MI, and it was an awesome music experience. The community of Elkhart is so blessed to have the Lerner Theatre in their community.

Wow! That was the first word that popped into my head when I walked in. The place is spectacular! Beautiful lighting, artwork, architecture... The ballroom our event was in was immaculate! The decor was set for the season, and was done so perfectly! Plus the acoustics are great for just about any event you'd want to host there. I would love to go to any event there.

Ballroom was gorgeous. Conjestion and confusion waiting to go to the wedding in ballroom. There was a play letting out at the same time as the wedding. Along with all the streets being shut down because of bike night in downtown.
