I wouldn't call this a pub and certainly not cosy. They are trying to be a posh restaurant.
At lunchtime, they are clearly aiming at the posh business people and well off retirees in jackets and ties. We turned up after a walk in the locality wearing decent jeans and trainers and the lady behind the bar was extremely off-hand and unwelcoming and suggested we eat in 'The Hut' which is separate from the main building.
The two young ladies in The Hut couldn't have been more different. Thoroughly recommend them. They would be 5*.
