Loved this hotel. It's a hidden gem (that i almost don't want to share) right at the end of the Corniche close to Emirates Palace, with a great location and views.

Great service, attentive staff, lovely rooms and beautiful bathrooms. I visited the newly opened beach club which is located just across the road and accessed via a marble lined tunnel under the road to a lovely pool with great cocktails and food as well as a lovely private beach.

I only had chance to grab some room service dinner (fish cakes were great) and to take a drink in the bar (loved the atmosphere) as well as to partake in a leisurely breakfast in Rhodes 44 - I'm a coffee fan so really appreciated being able to order plenty of different coffees over the course of my breakfast - recommend the Turkish Coffee for sure. As a bonus, it has a pork licence too - so a traditional English breakfast was my choice for the morning, although there are lots of international dishes available.

The hotel itself is full of visual treats, from great lighting with quirky chandeliers, through to English style libraries, art deco style bars and of course with an arabic feel too. Loved It and kept seeing new things as I walked around.

I was also lucky enough to visit the suite located between the two towers - if you are lucky enough to stay there then WOW !! Duplex apartment with its own private spa and cinema plus a majlis sitting room which was huge - and with stunning 360 degree views. Perfect for a stay, or even hosting a corporate event - it was stunning.

My only criticism, and it's a small one - is that much as I love the Butler Service providing hot drinks on demand to my room, I love being able to make coffee in my room so would have appreciated access to a Nespresso or similar type of coffee machine in my room.

My second comment - I wish I had stayed longer - it's on my 'will return to' list for sure.
