Stayed at this hotel for 4 nights with my husband ...

Stayed at this hotel for 4 nights with my husband and son. Found a number of issues mainly creditability and honesty of staff.

1 Lady in grocery store smoked vape during opening hours and was extremely rude to my 8 year old son.
2 My son's sweat top was stolen from reception area. I asked for the video cameras to be checked, no response or reply from the lost and found manager
3 I forgot my Apple MacBook in the room called hotel 4 times left messages, eventually got hold of the lost and found manager, to arrange for the Mac to be shipped and upon receipt of my Apple Mac it has significant damage to the front left hand corner where it was obviously dropped. Upon speaking to the hotel reception, leaving my number and email, I've have had no reply to date, via email.

In general extremely poor service from the Director of house keeping, Manager of Lost and Found, and Reception!!

Would not recommend this hotel due to above. I have spent the last 3 days of my holiday chasing this situation and also being told that I will not receive calls back as I am calling from an international number!!

Is it your policy not to call international numbers in a circumstance of goods lost/stolen from your hotel?
Do you think it is acceptable that your customers have to chase your employees to get answers?
Is this how you train your staff to give 'good customer service'?
