I was associated with Colruyt IT Consultancy India Pvt. Ltd. for more than 5 years. It is a captive of the Belgium based supermarket chain Colruyt mainly operating in Belgium. It is competing with discounters like Aldi and Lidl in Benelux countries where it is a well-established market leader.

I can try to write the pros and cons which I realized while working with the organization and request you to consider them to be my personal opinion.

Pros

Cons
The organizational structure of the company leads to conflicts between team culture and project culture
Offshore center is completely based on the organic growth of the parent company
Company supports internal recruitment which leads to internal conflicts and restricts enrichment of organization
Professional growth is higher for lower level executives due to multiple intermediate functions and slows down for mid-level and higher level executives
Due to cultural differences, offshore engagement faces challenges aligning with the parent organization
