A group of us attended the New Year's Eve party at the Westin and had a fantastic time. I highly recommend it. They had a DJ and a live band, diverse buffet, photo booth, large windows for firework viewing as well as balcony viewing, and open bar. The hotel is situated on the Mississippi facing in a way that you can't view the fleur-de-lis drop, however, we all had such a great time that we didn't regret missing it. If I'm ever in NOLA on NYE again, I'd definitely consider this party.
