The Westin is located in a pretty prime location on the edge of the French Quarter above a shopping mall. It is easily accessible from all sides and has plenty of parking available in the mall lot and in the adjacent outdoor lots.

Parking in the mall lot could be referred to as extortionate at a rate of $30 per day with no validation or discount being a hotel guest. There are also limited elevators for hotel access that are shared with the mall so it takes a while to reach the street level eleven stories below if the mall is busy.

The rooms are cleanly decorated and seemingly well maintained, it definitely served as a nice place to relax after the insanity of Burboun street. I only briefly interacted with the staff and they all seemed very accommodating and even gave me a toothbrush as I had forgotten mine.
