Called to ask a simple question. The "Firm Contact" I received from Hyatt Legal Services was a phone number to a "Jo Ann Butaud". I'm not sure if she's the rude, unhelpful, troll-ish sounding individual I spoke with but I think she is.

When I called she answered very rudely and asked what I needed. I told her my situation and she then asked me if I was seeking legal counsel. I told her yes (why else would I be calling?), and she asked for my name. As I was giving my name she literally cut me off and transferred me to someone else (an Intern I presume), who again asked me the same exact questions. I told him that I had just spoken to someone and was transferred out of no where and his response was that it was "probably the receptionist" and didn't seem surprised at all at her behavior.

Since I had to repeat the same information to this person, and since he wasn't at all surprised that his Receptionist is as rude and worthless as I described, one has to question how this firm handles their affairs. If they can't even hire, in this economy, a Receptionist with the most basic of Customer Service skills how do they handle their paperwork and legal proceedings?

I ended up calling 3 other legal offices in the area and each was very nice and eager to help.

Evans & Mullinix is worth no one's time.
