A few years ago I got a fantastic membership deal with 'No Joining Fee' and if that wasn't enough the membership fee was paid by monthly direct debit. The option I chose enables me to spend 6 lovely relaxing evenings each year for just over a tenner a month!!! I'm also able to bring up to 2 guests per visit and they pay half price as they're my guests.
Last week I finally got to spend the evening relaxing in the new Spa Garden and it was everything I'd hoped it would be and more.....
First we tried one of the four jacuzzi's which was lovely and hot and very relaxing. We were lucky enough to be able to dine al fresco as it was such a beautiful summer evening. It honestly felt like being on an overseas holiday and it was made us feel even more relaxed.
We didn't try the outdoor pool until about 8.30pm which sounds late to swim outside in this country however the pool is 30 degrees which sounds quite warm but was pretty much perfect. It made a nice change to be able to relax, chat and swim without being absolutely freezing if you weren't constantly on the move.
I thought the spa garden sounded lovely but the weather would mean it wouldn't get used much but I'm pleased to be proved wrong. Even if it isn't blazing hot sunshine it's still a lovely and relaxing place and the pool and jacuzzi's are warm enough to be used whatever the weather. I can't wait to go again.
