We recently used Avanti for some time in France, starting in Paris and ending in Normandy. I am giving this review one star because the first hotel we stayed in was fairly nice, despite a location quite distant from the city center. Our group has traveled together before, and are reasonable, generally easy to please, fun individuals whose goal was to enjoy a premium travel experience. Let me simply say this: Avanti did NOT provide that premium experience. Despite their high cost, excursions did not match descriptions. One of the hotels had mold. Avanti Customer Service does not/ did not care. They have absolutely no regard for customer issues or complaints. Save your money and find a company that provides more reasonably priced options, AND, if something does go wrong - as can happen - they demonstrate concern for their customers. Bottom line: find a company that delivers as promised. Avanti does not.
