The Frist is lucky enough to host the first of it's kind Native Women Artists exhibit linking the Legacy, the Relationships and the Power of the Native women whose work both historical and contemporary comprise the major part of what is museums across the world. By presenting both historical and contemporary works across genres and from all of Turtle Island, this facinating exhibit is absolutely worth seeing. The audio tour is narrated by the artists themselves and the exhibit catalog includes the perspectives of these artists. A monumental and significant contribution to the world, it should not be missed.
