They have 2 wings, one is old and one is new. Their old wing is so old that their electric switches are old fashioned, TV s do NOT have USB ports and the view from many of the rooms is just concrete walls 2-3 feet in front, some big pipes servings as exhaust may be for their kitchen or aircondioners. Pathetic views from Windows.
Minibars in this wing are never maintained, unless you specifically request. But who would call house keeping just for a coke at 12.30am and wait for 15 minutes when u want to sleep!

If you plan to stay there, request for New Wing before making a booking. Else the people at reception are very wise in giving excuses. Couple of them are cooperative too. But many of them don't know how to smile,as if they are forced for the duty! Helping attitude is one which is required in this industry. CrownePlaza in Chennai lacks there. Their receptionists feel as if they r doing some favour to you by giving rooms of your choice.

Advice: There are better hotels in city, don't choose this, unless unavoidable!
