Overall I have had a great experience with this insurance. A person must thoroughly understand their coverage to avoid surprise bills though. I think that is what contributes to so many negative reviews. The online portal to review processed claims is great and helpful to find in-network doctors. PAIN POINTS: limited customer service hours (8am-5pm M-F). Not ideal for those who work full-time. It can take 20+ minutes to get connected to someone. Sometimes the # does not work and you have to bypass it by speaking to a different department. It's not very well disclosed that some Medical College of WI doctors are in-network. Better notification is also needed about major procedures that are no longer covered like allergy testing.
