I interviewed at Lifeformations in Madeira, Oh just before Thanksgiving for a Mechanical Engineer position. I did the face to face interview, then they brought me in to do a small design project. My first impression of the place was that 95% of the workforce is in their 20s. With at least 75% of them looking like they're still in college. I had to design all the interior structure components of a Seagull that twisted its head from side to side. I worked on it for 3 days at 9 hours each. I was told I would be compensated for my time. It's been over a month now and I can't get a hold of anyone at Lifeformations. They have been ignoring my emails and my voicemails. I was never paid. I'm assuming they just had me come in to work for free. Scammers. I'd avoid interviewing with them if they want you to do free work.
