I am a dental surgeon. To do third-party payment on prostheses with Almerys, I have to ask Almerys for a payment request indicating the patient's medical data. I can make this request by mail or on their site. However, the Council of the Order of Dental Surgeons is very clear: "Strict respect for professional secrecy leads to the prohibition for any dental surgeon to address directly to the 'complementary body, any document or document containing medical information. " The legal solution is, as I do with other mutuals, to give the request to the patient who sends it to Almerys under his responsibility and therefore with his consent. But Almerys refuses to answer patients. Almerys therefore asks the dentists who would like to pay the third party payment to put themselves in illegality.
